Advertising the Romani Resistance Day

The Romani people have a long history in Europe of discrimination and prejudice against them. ARA ART uses art to advocate for the Romani people. Our team helped ARA ART create four informational panels to educate about the Romani Resistance Day. The Romani Resistance Day occurred on May 16th, 1944 at the Auschwitz concentration camp. Many Roma were scheduled to be exterminated, but rather than await this fate, they fought back against the Germans. Every year on May 16th this event is commemorated in Prague and other cities in Europe. In addition to creating the informational panels, we also created images for social media, and suggested ways ARA ART could improve their website.
