Supporting AraArt’s Growth

AraArt is a non-governmental organization focused on Roma LGBTQ+ advocacy. Most of their funding comes from grants. New policies in Czechia might limit their grants. The goal of this project was to improve AraArt’s sponsorship and partnership program to potentially increase their funding. Data on AraArt practices was obtained by interviews with staff. Best practices for attaining corporate sponsorship and partnership were found with surveys sent to NGOs and corporations. This data was used to understand which practices AraArt can implement. Recommendations for AraArt to improve their sponsorship system included writing mission statements, developing a sponsorship package, and highlighting key performance indicators.
